By Adam Smith

Grimsby Town manager Michael Jolley has confirmed that winger Max Wright will make his full EFL Sky Bet League Two debut this Saturday (3pm).

“For him to start his first game at Blundell Park – it will be an exciting day for him!” Grimsby Town manager Michael Jolley

The Town youth academy graduate, who scored seven goals on loan at Boston United this season, made his league debut in the Mariners’ 2-1 defeat to Notts County last weekend.

And Town boss Jolley has confirmed that the 21-year-old, who impressed on his debut last Saturday, will start against Crewe Alexandra at Blundell Park this weekend.

He said: “Max will definitely start the match on Saturday.

“It’s fully-deserved, and for him to start his first game at Blundell Park – it will be an exciting day for him, and I’m sure he’ll grasp it with both hands."
