Grimsby Town youth academy Player of the Year awards 2018-19 - gallery

By Adam Smith

Grimsby Town youth academy held their Player of the Year 2018-19 awards evening at Blundell Park last weekend.

It’s been another excellent year for the youth academy, culminating in the U18s winning the EFL North East Youth Alliance in dramatic circumstances last Saturday.

And, thanks to pictures from Michael White, we have compiled a gallery of images from the celebratory event.

Joseph Cook won the U9s Player of the Year, Brian Mudlaff-Minda won the U10s award, and Harry Olufowobi was chosen as the U11s Player of the Year.

The U12s Player of the Year was Callum Storr, Lucas Wilden won the U13s award, and the U14s gong went to Louis Boyd.

Harvey Tomlinson won the U15s Player of the Year award, and Luis Adlard – who also featured for the U18s several times – won the U16 award.

Defender Mattie Pollock, who signed a two-and-a-half-year professional deal with Grimsby Town first-team in February, won the U18s Player of the Year award.

We would like to congratulate everyone involved with the academy on a fantastic season!
